This course is not an abstract grammar course. Its purpose is to show how language works with emphasis on what is important to English as a Foreign Language (EFL) teachers. It aims to simplify language and take the intimidation out of teaching grammar. In addition, the course is meant to help you feel at ease with the mechanics of English and provide you with knowledge and confidence for answering student questions in the classroom. It is suitable for native speakers who have completed an onsite on online TEFL certificate course and need additional help with understanding and dealing with grammar in their classrooms. It is also useful for non-native speakers who are teaching EFL.

The course covers the important areas of grammar and builds upon your knowledge gradually. There is also an overview of common errors committed by English language learners and the differences between British and American English.

Once you have enrolled in the course, you will be issued with a student number and assigned a tutor. All tutors have a university degree, a TEFL certificate or equivalent, and at least fifteen years EFL teaching experience. The course will be done online through email attachments. After completing the application and sending the deposit, your first course materials will be emailed to you upon successful enrollment with the course provider. You can commence the course at your own convenience, and complete it at your own pace.

After successfully completing the course, you will receive a certificate by mail to your home location from the course provider based in Britain and the Republic of Ireland. It will be printed on high quality paper, and include a brief assessment of your performance and areas of weakness, and include a statement confirming that you have completed the course.
