TERMS & CONDITIONS

After receiving and upon acceptance of this application, you will be asked to pay a deposit in US dollars if you are signing up for the onsite TESOL (TEFL Certificate) course in Florence or the Teaching Practice only certificate course in Florence. The deposit, in either case, will guarantee and hold your place in a course for the course dates of your choice. All deposits are non-refundable and once paid, the course balance is also non-refundable. If necessary, the course deposit can be transferrable to another course, but is non-refundable. The course balance and ALL other course fees must be paid in Euro (or the requested currency) via credit card or cash directly to the onsite teacher training center in Florence.

The course balance paid to the onsite TESOL (TEFL Certificate) course in Florence pays for your satisfactory completion of ALL course requirements, including teaching practices, within the course time alloted. If for any reason you do not complete these satisfactorily within the period allowed, and it is agreed that an extension of time or further teaching practices are possible at a later date, you will be liable to additional charges from the teacher training center to cover additional staff time. If you withdraw from the onsite TSEOL (TEFL Certificate) course in Florence or do not complete the course requirements, the course certificate will be withheld.

Course cancellations are extremely rare on the part of any center. If for some reason an onsite TEFL certificate course is cancelled, enrollees will be offered the following choices:

Transfer to another course
Priority enrollment in a future course
A full refund of the course balance

The onsite TEFL teaching certificate in Florence does not include a grade and will usually be available on the last day of the course.

As part of the pre-screening process for the onsite TEFL certification course in Florence, applicants are requested to submit a personal account of their background, motives for taking the course, and future aspirations. Any inaccuracies or fraudulent claims on the application can be grounds for dismissal from the course.

All onsite course members are liable to the disciplinary regulations of the course center and/or program. The course or program director's decision is final and dismissal from any course or program is not grounds for a refund.

If signing up for the any of the online courses TESOL courses, payment needs to be paid in full. A full 14 day refund policy is offered from the date of receipt on all non-started TESOL 1 and TESOL 2 courses only, if requested. The online Grammar Certificate requires payment of an application fee.

If for any reason you wish to subsequently decide to discontinue your onsite or online course (except for any online TESOL 1 or TESOL 2 courses, which allow for a 14 day refund policy on non started courses) after part or full fees of the course balance have been paid, Teaching English in Italy is not liable for and cannot provide any refund of any deposit/application fee and/or paid course balance.
