Teaching English in Italy was founded to provide high quality online (via distance learning) and onsite certified teacher training in TEFL/TESOL.  Online courses are taught with either an online teacher trainer in Italy who holds an MA TESOL (online TESOL Certificate course) or with a tutor who resides in the United Kingdom (online TESOL 1 and TESOL 2, TEYL or TBE, and grammar certificate courses). All onsite courses are held in Florence, Italy.

Any of the courses listed on our website provide the certification needed for working in private language schools, as an English language teacher, in Italy or any other country in the world. These courses are useful for new teachers seeking certification or those who have already been teaching but need to formalize their training through a TEFL/TESL/TESOL certificate program.
